Vesta Bella
Show No Mercy, CGC
Our dogs have sound temperament, receive obedience training and have been raised in our home around our family. This is a large guardian working breed and although often very loving of its family, it may not be fond of strangers. The Cane Corso breed requires prospective owners to be capable of providing training, socialization & exercise/work for their pup. Before going home puppies' tails are docked, dewclaws removed, dewormed, microchipped, and first round of puppy vaccinations given. We use AVIDOG and "Puppy Culture" as a guide in raising & socializing our puppies during the first 12weeks. Puppies may go home when ready after 8-10weeks. New owners must arrange for ear cropping if desired (usually recommended by 12-14wks of age). We proudly offer a 10% discount for Veterans, First Responders, and Law Enforcement Officers.
All Breeding Pairs have been Embark genetic health tested & PennHIP tested with no OA or DJD. When we have puppies available, we will review applications (waitlist), and offer a puppy contract with a genetic 24month health guarantee. AKC Pedigree, ICCF 8 generation Pedigree, PennHip & EMBARK health information is available in Badges/Logos link above. Puppy Application, Contract Agreement & Pricing information can be found below photo galleries. Our Sire & Dam are affectionate, loyal, intelligent, protective, and both are AKC/ICCF dual registered. AKC Litter Certificate will be given with PET/Companion puppy contract agreement (no registration papers) and Limited AKC Registration upon breeder's discretion. Full AKC Registration (show/breeding prospects) only when puppy is available within a litter.
The Cane Corso is a large Italian Mastiff breed which does best in the home of an experienced dog owner. The AKC describes them as smart, trainable, and of noble bearing, the assertive and confident Cane Corso is a peerless protector. The Corso’s lineage goes back to ancient Roman times, and the breed’s name roughly translates from the Latin as “bodyguard dog”. Please do research about their specific characteristics and qualities to familiarize yourself about them before considering taking one home. They are a very interesting and unique guardian breed, but as such require a lot of socialization, training & time.
